Following the EGM on March 1st and a Committee meeting on March 15th, we have put together a calendar of flying events for 2022. Let’s hope that unlike the last one for 2020, the events will actually happen! We will keep this updated as things change.

At the EGM held on 1March 2022, it was decided that the subscription would remain at £12
for the year March 2022 to February 2023.
Remember that it is now one person, one subscription.
No joint memberships at the same address any more.

Following the inquorate AGM on 6 February 2022, an Extraordinary General Meeting was held by Zoom on 1 March 2022. The two main decisions at the EGM were that the subscription for the year March 2022 to February 2023 would be £12 per full member, and the constitution be amended to clarify the position of Junior members. Junior members are free of subscription, but must be accompanied at NEKF events by a parent/guardian/family member who must themselves be a full member resident at the same address as the junior member. It is the opinion of the committee that this provision is in conformance with current regulations concerning the protection of young people (i.e. under 18) at sporting events, as is required by our insurance.
