International Kite Festival
Members should note that for insurance reasons,
registration is required for kite fliers attending this festival. Click here to
download a registration form (.pdf) which should be printed, completed and
returned
Help will be needed to put the Air Gallery together on Friday night (6.30pm
ish).
Also NEKF members have a slot in the main arena from 1.00-2.00pm both days to
display our own kites. Lets go berserk and fill the sky, remember Monday at Seaton
Carew! The Air Gallery will be flown on Saturday from 3.00pm onwards with other
painted Edos so help will be needed to fly, launch, untangle etc. Sunday at 3.00pm
help will be needed to fly the Friendship Kite.
This year the tea tent and flyers marquee will be near to the campsite. Pauline
has asked that all cabanas should go round the edge of arena 1 and 3 and not
around the main arena (2) and in front of any of the arenas so as not to block
the public view. A good spot for NEKF members may be on the same side as the
tea tent-near to campsite and flyers car park, less walking.
Car Passes are available.
Buffet Saturday night (free) if booked through car/camping form, Small silent
auction, donations accepted.
Thursday 3rd July 11.00am press launch-flyers welcome.
